How we make money

Advertising disclosure: Play Picks may receive compensation when you click links to and open accounts with the brands we review. This never influences our ratings, which are based on a published methodology and independently verified data.

Affiliate relationships

When you click through to a brand and open an account, the brand may pay us a commission. This is a common funding model for comparison sites, and it lets us keep our research free to read.

Why our ratings stay independent

Our scoring is computed from a published methodology applied identically to every brand. A brand cannot pay to be ranked higher, to have a fact marked Verified, or to have a limitation removed. We disclose the commission model on the pages where it applies.

No obligation

You are never obliged to use our links. The reviews and comparisons stand on their own as research, and you can visit any brand directly at any time.
